In 1910 Mrs. Jennie Price of Arbon won the Republican nomination for Oneida County treasurer, in a race where every candidate for the office was a woman.

In 1910 the American Falls Press reported that newcomers outnumbered Arbon Valley's old settlers two to one and estimated a wheat crop double that of two years before.
